We work with children with developmental disabilities and high at risk youth and I am in low income housing complexes alot. I have told many people that I usually only see women and children in these places. The males are usually under 18. My question to everyone is "Where are the men?" It looks like men have chucked their responosibilities not only to their children, but the men in the legislature are doing the same thing. 80% of families with a disabled child ends in divorce and the majority of women and children end up in poverty.
